TS Student Planning to Lose Weight and THEN practice NBE

I'm planning to have my Sex Reassignment Surgery in either August or September but I am seriously planning to move into the Student housing community known as the Regency and I'd like to seriously receive the attentions of one of my fellow classmates. I plan to lose a lot of weight (like 50 pounds) prior to this time so I can have a nice figure. I just want to know, for a girl who is going to have SRS, possibly with/without HRT and seriously interested in NBE - what am I to do?

Wow, that's alot to do. How long have you been TS as far as actually starting the whole process? Shrinks, Doctors, and so on? Are you just starting? Not started at all? What are your actual goals. After the transition, then what?

I have been on hormones since November 2007.
I don't require any shrinks at all since my HRT doctor and my surgeon don't require the letters. ^_^
I have the name change and I've had my gender changed on my ID card.
I'd prefer to keep my future goals private - but I would like to say that I have to go to grad school to finish them.

Well, the problem is you are considering surgery without professional help. I would not do that myself. I'm not a hypocrite about this, because it's a HUGE issue and it's not a casual decision. I'm sure that you don't consider it casual, but for one - I can see the name change, but two how were you able to get your sex changed on your i.d. without verification of the surgery? I mean things like that are contrary to what I know about this process. I don't like answering questions about things like this knowing that all the steps are being followed. I'm not a doctor, but I've had to educate myself for years. You say you don't want to divulge personal info and I can understand that, but all I can say is that NBE is not as effective as doing actual drugs. At least not in the short term. NBE's can make you sick though if you abuse them. I know that by experience. I strongly suggest to you though to get at least some professional help before trying to get the surgery. I know it's easy to get the surgery because some doctor's mostly overseas don't care as long as the cash keeps coming, but for your best interest, I'd recommend it highly you at least get some help before going all the way.
