Holik screaming and acting like the supreme idiot on the bench after Brandons' second goal. I would like to see that scene repeated when his 20 year old defensemen( no need to mention any names ) continues to give the puck away and negates any power play we have when he is on the ice.

Screaming

I find it odd the coach can be such a nice guy at times, including to the players, yet such an absolute time bomb waiting to go off at other times. This seems to explain the up and down, inconsistent style of this team. Mind you, his work environment may also contribute to this.

Yes, maybe we should give him the benefit of the doubt. Never thought to much about the work environment. However, he should of checked this all out prior to taking the job, including the scimpiness of the GM and maybe the lack of resources for his program.

I still have to shake my head though, at the ice times he gives a certain defensemen. What is the scene there?

Is there a buck involved here for the club?? Percentage of a pro contract? Can't imagine a pro contract for him.
Coach forced to play him??
When Weller(sp) came a few years back, he did develop into a pretty good defensemen by the time he left, although you had to wonder if it would happen when he first arrived.

What am I not seeing here?? Would love to know.

I think there are about 2500 people that are wondering why a certain 20 yr old defensmam is getting the Ice time he is getting. Its not just you. And the way he is playing, I am confident he will not recieve a pro contract. I think the team should cut its losses and say good bye to that certain defenceman. There are others that can fill the gap. 1 of them is playing forward.

I agree. On the Ice in Calgary for three goals and wound up a -3. Is it any wonder Steve, Andrew and Michael struggle at times when it appears that defensemen is on the ice at the same time as our top line. How do you concentrate on offence when you know there is trouble at the back end. I just shake my head and wonder.

"lets go throw the hole team game after game ." What the hell does that mean? Accually, what did your whole post mean? We are not on here talking about where we think we can play hockey. just critisizing others, thats what these boards are for. Haha. Oh, and here's a link to some stats that people can read- http://whl.ca/stats/statdisplay.php?type=skaters&subType=7&season_id=229&&leagueId=26&lastActive=&singleSeason=
