I wouldn't think he would be back as he would occupy two roster spots in a sence, one as a 20 year old, and one as a Euro spot.
He was a great player and would be a huge asset back to the team once again but with the choices of 20 year olds available on the team and an opportunity to pick a another young Euro prospect in the near future, I cant see him returning.
Also I think Ryzuk has his work cut out for him to take a spot. He did not develop nearly as well as I thought he would and has to now prove he can play at this level in camp or he may just not return either. He's 18 and an 18 year old should be a top 4 or 5 Dman by the way the ICE have developed D men in the past. I dont expect him to dominate but at least learn to shoot and pass the puck a little better and skating was a big factor as well.
Just my opinion though | |
