Hey, I don't know how I found this forum... but I did and I saw a lot of banter on this subject (which I think is really funny).
A lot of people say its his personal life and who cares (I agree). Sadly, there are people out there who perpetuate evil, like Barbara Walters who is a glorified National Enquirer reporter. The media is story hungry and therefore will jump at the chance for something that Christian America finds scandalous. Thats why people care. Thats why this subject keeps coming up. If the media ONLY respected people and their personal lives and found other ways to make and sell a story, there wouldn't be gossip and the latest scoop. I have proof of what I am talking about:
Look at how the media continued the terrorists agenda on 9/11. Over and over the media showed those airplanes crashing into the Trade Towers. Over and over again we saw the devastation and tragedy. It was a newstory to them. They traumatized our nation and world. Were they just doing their job? Yes, but when you do your job, shouldn't you take into account the ramifications of your actions? The media does not do that. We are all victims of the free press and so are celebreties.
Tom Cruise is CONTINUALLY asked by Barbara Walters if he is gay. Now to be fair, his actions in gay bars and nightclubs bring this into the foray. Just recently Barbara Walters tried to get it out of Leonardo Dicaprio, which thankfully he had Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks to protect him from her. From what I was told, Tom Hanks ripped her a much deserving new one.
If and when Barbara interviews our favorite product from new York, you can be rest assured she will ask him. I hope he decks her. |
