I don't think box office numbers are all that important either. Sure, if lots of people think it's a good movie, then word will get around & people will see it. But personally, that doesn't mean squat to me. Just like if there is a movie that I really wanna see, and someone sees it before me but they tell me that it sucked & to not waste my money. Well, that's fine if they think that way, but I am still going to see it so I can form my own opinion. There are several movies that didn't do well at the box office that I think are great movies. A Man Apart & Riddick are 2 of them. I still think AMA is Vin's best movie. I just LOVE that movie. And Riddick kicked ass...even my husband thinks Riddick rocked & he's a tough critic when it comes to Vin!
So whatever...Suchin Pak can EAT IT.
And as far as xXx 2 goes...Vin didn't do it bcuz he didn't wanna be in a movie that was made "just for the money." He wanted to make a quality movie. He said he's not into making sequels if they are only making them for the money...that's when the scripts go to hell & you lose all respect as an actor. I agree with him. It's all about QUALITY not QUANTITY. So, that should tell you something about Ice Cube. It tells me that he has a lot to learn. He should take notes from Vin.
I sure as hell won't be seeing this so-called "xXx: 2."
By the way, it was TFATF2 that Vin didn't do bcuz he was shooting Riddick.
