I just wanted to say that i think much of the confusion surrounding Marilyns death is due to the many cover-up strategies that everyone used to protect the Kennedys. Keep in mind Peter Lawford was suppose to be the one that got that "last phone call" from Marilyn. He would do anything to help the kennedys, he said something like MM called him at a party and told him to "say goodbye to bobby and the president and say goodbye to yourself Peter because you are a nice guy". This conversation that Lawford repeated from the very beginning of MM's death to the day Lawford died. Lawford was basically the one that sent the police down the path of the suicide myth. Lawford said what he did to correlate with Marilyn killing herself, thus sending law enforcement into beleiving that was her death cause. I think Lawford lied, and participated in a cover-up, sadly Marilyn trusted him, and Lawford may have been famous and married to a kennedy but basically he was a loser, who did what he was told by the Kennedys because he like the perks that went with that. Lawford later was divorced from Pat Kennnedy and married a woman i think was named Debra Gould, she said that a reporter came and spoke to Peter basically on his death bed and asked him if marilyn had been killed, or committed suicide, Lawford responded the same we he always did he threw up his much-used smoke screen and stuck to his original story, but before the reporter left Peter said this, i could not, would not, admit that she was murdered or there was a cover-up ever. I think that says alot he was telling the reporter his story was a total lie right from the start, Lawford died a few days after that interview.
