I'm no expert, but according to the police reports, Marilyn was face down on her bed as well as laying diagonal with her hand on the telephone(on the nightstand). So it seems improbable that that would actually be a picture of Marilyn Monroe.

I agree that the photo does not correspond to how people said Marilyn was found. However, if you look closely, she is in a slightly diagonal position and is face down. The weird thing is that original accounts say she was nude. In the photo, she was covered up. HMMMMMM.... If you look at the morgue photos of Marilyn, you can see what seems to be bruising on her face. It isn't bruising. It is where the blood pooled up because there was pressure being put on her face by being face down. So, there is some truth to parts of the story. However, I believe as many people do that the President and Bobby had her taken out by the CIA. After all, Bobby was head of the CIA at the time of Marilyn's death. The President had his own personal physcians because of his bad back due to his time in the military, and being blown out of a boat. It would have been very easy to find out what drugs, how much and the easiest way to administer them without leaving a trace. Hence the enema full of drugs. Inserting drugs into the rectum is on of the quickest and most effective ways of getting a drug into the body. Being no "notable" needle marks were found, it only makes sense. As for Peter Lawford, he was the Kennedy's lap dog. They said jump, and he asked how high and where too. It doesn't surprised me that Lawford married Monroe in the first place. What an easy way to keep tabs on someone who could potentially ruin the political lives of the Kennedy's. Yes, I sincerely believe that Marilyn Monroe's death was and still is a conspiracy. She was just naive in the end. It was such a loss to the entire world when MM died. Who knows where her career may have ended up? I also think that the only person who actually ever REALLY cared for and loved Marilyn was Joe DiMaggio. He remained a faithful friend to the end and then some. Personally, I think that she could have easily been ranked up there with Hephburn, Garbo, Davis, ect. I hope she continues to rest in piece.
