A while ago I saw a beautiful Dodge pickup that stuck in my head. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the make/model/year, approximately. I'll try to identify as many details as i can.
The most concrete detail is that the tailgate simply had "DODGE" written all the way across in large letters. all the lines of the truck were very straight. It had large silver mirrors and a classical look. I remember the front kind of resembling the "dude" line, but I don't remember any texture detail along the sides; instead I remember the sides of the body more resembling the 1983 ram. Of course this is all based on my memory and the few good pictures I can find, and literally no pictures online show tailgates. What did the early '80s rams look like on the tailgates? Which years of the dude or sweptline had the least obvious side texture?
