Please-I know many successful MDs from the UAG-you just don't know because they are usually better than the US grad they are sitting next to. I agree, you need to live it. Learn the language, this makes a huge difference and is something that makes you stand out later. Success comes from within. Either you have it or you don't. You can make it happen with hard work.
As I've said before, you learn to be a physician. You are not just taught to pass an exam. That's why those who are able to succeed are the best docs. It is what you make it.
