We went to camp now its time to show what we learned.

Nutmeg State Games 2009
Wrestling tournament

New York wrestlers are welcome this year, because their games were canceled and New Jersey & Rhode Island do not have a State Games, therefore residence or students from all three states NY, NJ & RI are welcome to compete in Conneticut's State Games.

Registration / Check in / Weigh in: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM SHARP NO EXCEPTIONS
Wrestling will begin at 10:00 AM (Based on number of participants)!

SELECTION PROCESS:
Events are open to all Connecticut amateur athletes who register with the Nutmeg State Games Office. The Nutmeg State Games reserves the right to cut the competition in the event of over subscription.

FORMAT:
Double Elimination
If less than 5 in a weight class - Round Robin

STYLE:
Folkstyle

RULES:

Intermediate & Scholastic: National Federation
Open: NCAA

Competitors age is determined by their age on the day of the tournament (Saturday, August 2nd).

The Nutmeg State Games recommends all participants wear singlets, head gear and are clean shaven for the meet.

In the event, however, that there are more then 4 athletes registered in each weight class, there will be wrestle-offs to determine who will go to the finals.

Onsite Registration/insurance fees total $35.00


Your age group will be determined as of August 2, 2009

All registration/processing/insurance fees are non-refundable and must be paid before an athlete is eligible for competition

Admission $5.00 adult, $3.00 student and senior citizen
