"VS" is a common abbreviation for Variable Speed.

Rotating the barrel 90 degrees during the process was the part of the procedure I thought helped reduce error. The table edge is indeed my idea and typical of a "kitchen table" procedure many people on the forums resort to due to the lack of a dedicated shop.

What's a "drill motor"?
