There is a huge amount to learn in using the software and running the machine safely. With 250 IPM rapids available things can get real ugly real fast. I am trying to put together some product designs to machine with the mill to help pay back some of this significant cash I had to outlay for the retrofit. IT is already an amazing transformation of the machines capabilities. IT is very cool to be doing some relatively precise machining operations with seldom touching the machine.... The mouse does most of it!!!
I am nearly finished with a tormach style enclosure for it currently and I am hoping to paint it and install it this weekend. This cnc stuff is a lot of fun!!! peace
