CONFLICT ... Conflict is what you experience when you have two alternatives which are mutually exclusive, but you want them both. Examples would be spending your money and having it too, or smoking and stopping smoking. You think hard, do some soul searching, and make your decision. The next time you need to think a little less. Eventually you establish a pattern, and the decision (to not smoke, for example) becomes easy. When you first stop smoking, it is useful and healthy to spend time in conflict. Thinking about what's more important. Agonizing. Soul Searching. If you do this, each decision to not smoke becomes a little easier. And eventually it becomes easy and natural. | |
