i lived in pine until just over 10 years, i got a 'get out of jail card' of an opportunity which i'm glad i took.
after going back to scotland for a holiday in 06, I couldn't beleive how bad abronhill was(scratch that, the whole of cumbernauld!).
i'm not sure if it was just that bad while i was there that I hadn't noticed, but after being away for so long it was a shock of a state. looks like the council has spend a complete zilch around the place over the past decade.
(got to laugh that the video drive-in wall still has a boarded up plank where the royal bank atm was, the bank must of shut about 15-20 years ago, but still no rework to the buildings!)
