- Former NWA Wildside champion Rick Michaels signed on to work with WWE in an unspecified backstage role with the company. It is also possible that he will become an in-ring talent at some point, as he has the experience if needed or a situation presents itself.
- There is a lot of talk right now that Japanese developmental wrestler Kenzo Suzuki will show up on the SmackDown! side managed by Funaki in the near future. Suzuki, who has worked dark matches, including WrestleMania XX week for both RAW and SmackDown!, has spent quite a while in OVW and is nearing a television push.
- For those who have asked if the final NCAA college basketball game hurt the RAW rating this past Monday, it's possible. The game itself ran into problems as they scored an 11.0 rating, the lowest number that was ever recorded for the game by Nielsen and down from last year’s 12.6.
- NWA-TNA is closer than ever to getting a TV deal on the Fox Sports network to support their PPV's. It is not known at this time if TNA will drop their weekly PPV's and do one monthly or if they'll continue with their current ways.
TNA officials have met with Universal Studios in Orlando, FL about the possibility of taping their shows there. The two sides are supposed to meet next week to try and iron out a deal. At this time, things are looking really good.
