Yeah, so it was another somewhat topsy-turvy Canadian pay-per-view. It seems to happen for some reason. Not too much to say as to what happened off-camera.
-The crowd was, for the most part, into the matches, with the exceptions of the Women's Title match, Tajiri-Coachman, and the tag match.
-Matt Hardy got quite a few cheers in his Heat match against Venis.
-The hardcore match was just amazing live. Randy Orton and Cactus Jack tore the roof off the place. I was trying to start some "Cactus Jack" chants, but the crowd found it easier to chant "Foley" instead.
-Wade Keller didn't really miss much by not seeing much of the tag match. Eugene Dinsmore came down and bounced off the ropes umpteen times.
-Since it was Chris Benoit's hometown, Shawn Michaels was treated like a heel, being booed at every opportunity, especially when he tried to throw Benoit into a Sharpshooter.
-After we left the live feed, Benoit kept celebrating with the crowd. A Canadian flag was thrown into the ring, and Benoit waved it to the roar of the fans. Michaels was at the top of the ramp when Benoit grabbed a microphone and told HBK, "It looks like the fans here want you to get out of town. And the fans know that you tapped out." That brought a large "You tapped out" chant. After Michaels left, Hunter tried to come down to the ring. Benoit told him, "You also tapped out to me." Triple H replied, "I only tapped out once. And it sure as hell won't happen a second time." He rushed the ring, and got thrown into a Crossface. He tapped out in about fifteen seconds.

Just got back from Backlash, here's a quick rundown on what happened after it went off the air:
Benoit continuied to celebrate in the ring. Meanwhile, Michaels angrily tried to get at him from the top of the ramp, but was restrained by officials. Benoit told him that "not only did you screw Bret, but tonight, you tapped out". Michaels was eventually led off by the refs, with the crowd all over him. Benoit's in-ring celebration then continuied, only to be interrupted by HHH, who came out and told Benoit that he may have made him tap once, but he would never be able to do it again. With that, he charged at Benoit, who sidestepped him and locked on the crossface, forcing HHH to tap. Benoit celebrated a bit further, and then left.
