Lowest buy rate since 2001, Triple H injured, Christian update and more

May 31 2004 at 6:15 PM

- Chris Jericho is suffering from an arm injury suffered during the first night of the European tour in a match against Tyson Tomko. The injury isn't thought to be serious.

- Triple H is also suffering from some type of arm injury. The injury isn't thought to be serious

- As expected, WWE Judgment Day delivered the lowest PPV buyrate for the company in over three years. The show drew roughly 200,000 buys. The May PPV in 2003 drew 300,000 buys and the May PPV in 2002 drew 375,000 buys.

200,000 buys is the lowest number for a WWE PPV since February of 2001.

- Despite her appearance at the WWE show in Dublin, Ireland, Stephanie McMahon is not scheduled to return to WWE TV anytime soon.

- Christian is being kept off the road due to his ongoing back spasms which are the result of a lower back injury suffered a few weeks ago. Rest seems to be the only aid for the condition, which is similar to the back problem that NBA star Sam Cassell suffers from.

Christian's case is not considered to be serious, but he will likely miss RAW next Monday.

Meanwhile, management has been pleased with Christian's work and feel they can rely on him as a solid second tier player.
