- Chavo Guerrero Sr.'s name was removed from the WWE.com SmackDown! superstars page earlier this morning.

- Chavo Sr. was released last week upon showing up to the SmackDown! tapings after no-showing two house shows over the weekend. Chavo Sr. was informed of his release when he arrived at the tapings. We were told that Eddie and Chavo Jr. talked him into wrestling a match with Rey Mysterio and dropping the title because the two felt it could jeopardize their pushes with the company. Chavo Sr. agreed to 'do the right thing' and worked the match.

Chavo Sr. was telling people that he was released because he refused to walk around in a dress on national TV.

- With the Presidential Election coming up in November, WWE plans to do their own election where the fans will pick a 'WWE president' to oversee both the RAW and SmackDown brands.

- There are plans to add "Tough Enough segments" to Smackdown later this year. These segments will be used to create new stars.

- WWE will tape Raw and Smackdown in the United Kingdom in October.

- WWE is working with several "major studios" for their WWE Films projects.

- The Diva Search will have it's own special on July 15th on Spike TV.

The Diva search was originally supposed to air on UPN's SmackDown! on a weekly basis but UPN turned down the deal because they felt it was to similar to their "America's Next Top Model" program.

- The RAW contract with Spike TV expires in September 2005. WWE is currently re-negotiating a deal to stay with the network.

- The reason WWE shot the recent Paul Bearer angle without him physically being there was because he underwent emergency gall bladder surgery and they needed to come up with a storyline to explain his absence. Most members of the writing team hated the kidnapping and hostage angles but both Vince McMahon and Undertaker liked it and so it was retained.
