Thanks to Mike Johnson for these:
Dark Match:
*Mike Bucci (aka Nova) defeating Rising Sun
Sunday Night Heat:
*Maven pinned Chuck Palumbo with rollup as Palumbo argued with the referee in about 8 minutes.
*Hurricane & Rosey defeated two unannounced competitors in about 10 minutes after Hurricane used a version of the shining wizard.
*William Regal, who received a huge reaction, pinned Steven Richards. Richards worked heel and wasn't dressed in drag.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just a few more notes/corrections to the results I called in earlier:
*The unannounced jobbers were developmental talent from OVW, as the locals were advised on Saturday that their services would not be needed. Rising Sun was actual Wavell Star, wow the Fink is hard to understand some times. Wavell is a worker from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Off Air Notes:
*After Raw went off the air, Benoit and Edge cut promos about their upcoming matches on Sunday. Lots of cheap pops about being Canadian and mentioning Canadian beer. The night ended with an ovation for Benoit draped in the Canadian flag, followed by Edge leading the crowd in a "Go Jets Go" chant. (The Jets are now the Phoenix Coyotes of the NHL, and beloved to the city of Winnipeg). You can tell that Edge was happy to get that reaction, I'm sure it's a thousand times better then his days touring northern Manitoba.
*Nothing special, the crowd was really hot. I don't know if it came off well on TV, but the crowd was turning on Eugene. I see a lot of parallels between Eugene and the Rock as to overexposure. But I might be wrong. Oh and by the way Ric Flair is the man. He does all the little things to play it up to the crowd. His face-plant shtick got one of the biggest pops of the night. He is the best wrestler of all time because he is the best entertainer of all time.
Biggest Pops:
Chris Jericho (obviously)
HHH
Flair
William Regal
Jerry Lawler
(Surprisingly Benoit was not that over in Jericho country, which is a shame)
Most Heat:
HHH after ripping on Benoit
Coach
Eugene

Thanks to 411 reader Mike Berkis for sending in this report.
I was at Raw last night. This was my 5th TV taping, and probably the loudest. The fan reaction was huge all night long, but it just didn't come across well on TV. The place went insane for Jericho and did taper off a bit, but not much. I've read that before and find it odd how the live crowd audio seems to get filtered out. Being there live, I'd have to say the crowd was super hot all night long with the exception of the tag title and women's matches. The show was a lot of fun.
It looked pretty packed in there, as the lower bowl was completely filled up. The upper decks were used, but not full because they have obstructed views after the first few rows. I've been to the arena for dozens of house shows and I'd have to call last night a near sell out. If I had to guess, I'd say between 10,000 and 11,000. We'll probably sell out the new MTS Center if we ever get that PPV we've been hearing about. I've heard Vince and Carl DeMarco say the WWE wants to be the first major event in our new arena when it opens this fall.
Biggest Pops
1 - Jericho
2 - Benoit/Edge
3 - William Regal (on Heat, he got a massive pop as he was the first big babyface to come out)
4 - HHH (until he cut the promo)
5 - Eugene (until the end)
Biggest Heat
1 - Randy Orton winning
2 - HHH
3 - Eugene's "turn"
4 - La Resistance singing
During the commercials, there were huge "Jerry, Jerry" chants for the King, and even a few "JR" chants. Most were for the King. Not much else during commercials other than the usual T-shirt gun and dead silence waiting to come back from break.

HEAT TAPING
(1) Maven pinned Chuck Palumbo. Maven wins it with a bridge/cradle pin. Okay match, good pop for Maven.
(2) Rosey & Hurricane won a squash. One guy had "ruff" written on his pants. Rosey & Hurricane win in a pretty basic tag match. Rosey did a nice comedy bit after where a female fan in the front was blowing kisses at him and he was hitting on her. Hurricane kept pulling him back, but when he turned his back, Rosey ran back to her.
(3) William Regal beat Steven Richards. This had to be the biggest surprise of the night, as Regal got a MASSIVE pop. There was even a large and loud Regal chant during his entrance and then again during the match. Regal wins the match and Richards gets angry.
RAW NOTES
The Raw taping was decent. Some of the matches weren't very good, like the La Resistance match or the women's match. The crowd was very much into Jericho, Obviously, since he is our home town boy. The night was filled with Y2J chants and various other Jericho chants. The other chants worth mentioning were the usual ones towards Evolution, like "You Tapped Out" towards Triple H and "Orton sucks."
After the taping ended, Benoit and Edge stayed in the ring and soaked up some cheers. Edge got a Canadian flag and they both had a little hype for the PPV, but mostly stayed on Canada topics (Canada Day, our old NHL hockey team, Canadian pride) and thanked everyone for coming. They left and posed with the flag and the belt.
BIGGEST POPS
1. Chris Jericho
2. William Regal
3. Edge/Chris Benoit
MOST HEEL HEAT
1. Evolution (mostly Randy Orton)
2. La Resistance
