- Brian Bosworth was recently speaking about "The Longest Yard" on ESPN, and he mentioned that Steve Austin blew out his hamstring while training for the football scenes in the movie.
Steve Austin is still living with DDP. When DDP had been asked about Austin being incommunicado with everybody, he stated that Austin just needs to get some distance.
It looks like Nathan Jones will also be out of "The Longest Yard." The script for the movie was re-written and the character Jones was supposed to play was written out of the movie. Jones is currently filming a martial arts movie in Thailand.
- This weeks RAW rating scored a 3.8.
That number is up from last weeks 3.6.
Management was happy with last nights show and felt all the talent came through where they really needed to.
- WWE will once again offer bonus matches with the Summerslam webcast, priced at $34.95. Matches include Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect, Undertaker vs. Fake Undertaker, Mankind vs. HHH in a cage and the Elimination Chamber from last year.

The matches tap into the ECW, WWE, and WCW libraries, featuring everything from RVD vs. Rhyno to Lesnar vs. Hogan to Hulk Hogan vs. Sting.
- WWE has started advertising a Shawn Michaels vs. Kane match for their September 5th house show in Dallas, TX. This would indicate that Michaels will return to TV before that date. Of course, plans could change.
- John Cena will take a brief hiatus from WWE in September due to his starring role in The Marine, a movie being produced by WWE. The movie will star Cena as a returning soldier who finds out his girlfriend has been captured. The movie was actually intended to star Steve Austin.
WWE is hoping that Cena will come away from the experience with improved acting abilities that will help his WWE character.
