I attended last night’s Smackdown brand show in Edmonton, Alberta last night. The show was held in a small building and didn’t even sell out. I had fun though and the crowd that was there was into the show.
In the opener, The FBI beat The Bashams. Good match.
Heidenreich beat Funaki. Next.
In a “huh, already?” match, Billy Kidman beat Paul London after a low blow. Kidman is a heel now. He did an interview before the match where he heeled London, who came out for the match. Boy, did they ever book these two poorly.
Luther Reigns beat Charlie Haas, who was with the “oh so lovely” Miss Jackie.
Spike Dudley beat Rey Mysterio by rolling up Rey and grabbing the ropes. This wasn’t as good as I hoped.
Torrie Wilson beat Dawn Marie in a wrestling match. Better than I expected.
Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki beat Rob Van Dam & Hardcore Holly. Poor RVD.
JBL beat Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle in a three way match to keep the WWE Title.
