- The original plan for the Lita segment on RAW involved Lita and Kane giving an interview together, with Kane reacting to Lita's mental state. Although details are sketchy, it reportedly was to be a pretty big part of the show and WWE officials were upset that they communication error caused the rewrite.
Johnny Ace is taking heat for the communication error, as he is quickly learning Jim Ross' old job was a lot harder than he anticipated. This is not the first liaison problem to fall on Ace's shoulders; a creative error last week required Vince McMahon's private jet to fly into Dallas and pick up Gene Snitsky. Ace blames the creative team for not being more clear on what talent is needed and when.
- Many fans in Wichita, Kansas were upset that the Big Show did not appear live during the Smackdown taping. Big Show played college basketball in Wichita and is a local celebrity there, which makes it strange that WWE did not bring him out.
Word is that Vince McMahon made the call to have Big Show and The Undertaker film their segments before the show and let them leave early. McMahon apparently changed the show around many times on Tuesday which frustrated a lot of wrestlers.
- Jeff Hardy no-showed the Impact taping this week. He was scheduled to face David Young at the taping. Hardy no-showing forced TNA to rewrite much of the show. Hardy has had problems of no-showing in the past with WWE.
- Kid Kash and Chase Stevens of the Naturals got into some type of verbal argument at the Impact taping. Monty Brown had to step in and calm things down between them.
