WWE to return to USA?, Raw ratings, Undertaker match at WM and more

- Various inside sources claim that World Wrestling Entertainment is still negotiating a return to the USA Network when its deal with Spike TV expires in September.

WWE currently runs several hours a week of original WWE programming on Spike TV, including its flagship "WWE RAW." The two-hour program has seen its ratings drop quite a bit since moving to Spike TV, although sources believe the drop is more due to the quality of the product than the actual network. Evidence to end speculation that Spike TV is responsible for the ratings drop is the fact that when RAW first premiered with the network, it did not see any significant loss of viewership.

Spike TV is still interested in keeping WWE programming on its network, but with the possibility of an image change for the network, and the ratings disappointment, it's possible the network may not offer WWE a substantial offer to sign a renewal.

- The final numbers for this week's edition of WWE Raw are in. The show did a 3.9 cable rating with a 5.9 share, which is up from last week's 3.7.

- WWE Velocity on February 12th, 2005 managed to pull in a 0.6 cable rating with a 1.2 share

- WWE Experience on February 13th, 2005 managed to pull in a 0.6 cable rating with a 1.5 share

- WWE Sunday Night Heat on February 13th, 2005 managed to pull in a 0.7 cable rating with a 1.2 share

- Virtually no WWE wrestlers would be interested in seeing Brock Lesnar return to the company. Whether it's his decision to leave while on top, his anti-WWE comments in the media, or his recent lawsuit, Lesnar does not have the support of the lockerroom by any stretch of the imagination. It should be noted that he was already resented backstage, so his decision to leave only exacerbated the tension.

- One of the original high-profile matches set for WrestleMania 21 this year was to be Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker. The plans then seemed to have changed leaning more in favor towards a tag-team match with Kane and Undertaker vs. Gene Snitsky and Heidenreich. Now, according to recent sources, it's looking once again more likely that we'll see Orton vs. 'Taker, in sort of a "Legend vs. Legend Killer" billed match.

- As of this morning, there are still third row ringside tickets available for No Way Out. A press conference and ticket give-aways on local radio stations are being used as methods to drum up ticket sales.
