WWE television move?, McMahon out at least two months, JR helping, Team Blondage and moreFebruary 22 2005 at 9:04 PM | PhenomForest.com | |
| - Frankie Kazarian is in Philadelphia, PA and will be at tonight's SmackDown! tapings. We're told Kazarian was booked for both nights of TV this week but flight issues prevented him from arriving in time for Raw in State College, PA. We don't believe he'll be on TV, but rather in a dark match so management can take a look at him. He's definitely in Philly right now.
- Former WCW Hardcore champion Big Vito had a dark match last night in State College, PA, defeating Kevin Matthews.
- Team Blondage, Amber O'Neale and Kristy Vaine will be looked at tonight in a dark match by WWE management.
- It is looking more and more like WWE will move from Spike TV over to USA Networks. There is already some motion between both sides which would indicate that this move is becoming more and more likely. Also, if Raw is to move to USA there is a good chance that Smackdown! will be dropped from UPN and will also end up on USA. This may mean that Smackdown! will change nights in the future and may even become a live show after the change.
- There is still talk of turning Randy Orton heel in the future and this may also play into the fact of having him go against Undertaker at WrestleMania 21. Since right now, both Orton and Taker are considered "babyfaces" then it would make the match more marketable and also set Orton up with a possible match with Batista in the future.
- Jim Ross was at the No Way Out PPV on Sunday helping out with backstage duties. With Triple H working the house show, that left Stephanie McMahon in charge of the PPV. Ross helped with production and also was on the other end of the head set for Cole and Tazz at the announce booth
- Word going around is that Vince McMahon may miss up to two months of WWE shows to rehab two quad injuries. He is said to be in real bad shape right now, confined to a wheelchair, and has trouble getting in and out of bed at night as well as getting dressed in the mornings.
We may see him try to return at 'Mania. He definitely wont be making any of the other shows.
