Raw rating, Women's Extreme Wrestling, McCool to wrestle and more

- According to several sources, there have been several pitch meetings by Women's Extreme Wrestling, headed by former ECW management team members Dan Kowal and Steve Karel, to Spike TV. The promotion runs semi-regularly in the Pennsylvania and Delaware area, also holding events in Florida at times.

The promotion regularly runs taped PPV events, which at times in the past have incorporated softcore porn scenes into the shows. A tamed down version of the events, minus the porn footage, have been released nationally via retail markets.

- Look for former diva search contestant Michelle McCool to wrestle more in the future. Another diva search contestant, Raw interviewer Maira Kannalis, may be involved in a future storyline.

- Expect OVW’s Jillian Hall to compete in the Raw women’s division. Marty Wright, the 41 year old from the recent Tough Enough competition is also expected to join the Raw roster.

- WWE is expected to have Raw at the Allstate Arena in Chicago the night after next year’s Wrestlemania, the same building that will host Wrestlemania 22.

- RAW drew a 4.1 rating this week.

That is up from last weeks 4.0 and the 3.9 from the week before. It was also the night after a PPV featuring Hulk Hogan.
