i find the layout of the distractions forum the most useful and modern one, unless

unless you are trying to make it exactly like the main forum for some reason.

for something like qb64, the fact that it is just like "the qbasic forum" makes a lot of sense. thebob will probably choose whatever he wants. so linux forum (imo) should be like distractions (i'd prefer it) or like the main forum.
