difference of opinion

sometimes a thread turns into a debate about QBASIC. there has never been a time since the beginning of this forum when that was NOT true. it is not a problem, even though you don't like it, it is the nature of the forum. the debate was ON TOPIC. and if you want to point fingers, i think you'll have to blame myst too. like me, he's of the notion that we can debate the methods used to write a program on the qbasic forum.

hide? what? it was on the main forum. there's no place to "hide" on any of the forums. i happen to know for a fact the op was not ignored, because i wasn't ignoring him. if anything, the debate made the thread more busy, which means more people would see his posts.

well that's STUPID, i included one pseudocode example and one and a half actual examples... more than anyone else in the thread, including you... who only said that "this or that" would be a "mess..." which is okay actually, but you have no room to tell me to contribute more than "philosophical" anything in that thread. if you're going to rate everyone's posts as "drivel" or not, let's talk about yours.

what are you talking about? it's a thread ABOUT the linux forum ITSELF. what does it have to do with qb64?
