My name is Kim. We haven't met, but I received a link to this site from Up With Downs. I know you've lost a special little child, and I just wanted to let you know that I've shed a few tears for you today, knowing that your heart is aching for your son. I lost a son 3.5 years ago and I still think of him and miss him every day- but I know that a part of him is always with me. His name is James Michael. He was our first child. He was born with a very rare genetic brain disorder that was undetectable before birth. He shared just 1 precious week with us before returning home to heaven. We have had two children after him, both daughters, and the second was born with T21. Again, we didn't know until she was born, but she is a special child.
