See above under the heading "In simplest words..."
Words can convey to a point. You have to see the swing either through someone who knows how to do it, or by a DVD. This swing is very much a feel, you need to see it first and then turn that visual image to feel
If someone said they had a magic pill for cancer, wouldn't you take it if you needed it. Well, I am convinced the Austin type motion is the magic pill golfers have been waiting for. I have taught two friends this motion, the results have been as stunning as they were for me. This method will never truly mainstream, quite sadly. Why, because it works. It is the real thing. Most instructors to make a living need to keep you on the golf instruction merry go round. Make you believe you are just one lesson, just one new custom fitted club, just one more training device, to Nirvana. You never get off this merry go round. With the Austin swing, you are off the ride quick. Not good for the pocket books of many instructors who thrive on struggling students.
So, you owe it to yourself to give this a serious look. If you can't do this swing, I would say you are a hopeless cause. And I say that not be a wise ass, it is in th spirit of motivating some of you to experience a higher level of play as I have. I have absolute no anxiety when going to the tee, i know what is going to happen. And if I hit a bad shot, the system has so few variables, i know exactly what i did wrong with no guessing. Off my soapbox, give it a try and report back.
Best regards and good luck
