Understand the difference between horizontal hinging and vertical hinging.

You can swing very steeply, and still do horizontal hinging. Do you understand the difference betwen horizontal and vertical hinging? This is really what I was referring to, maybe I was not specific enough. Vodka has a way of clouding my thought processes.
