| There is no denying it, this swing works best for meApril 4 2008 at 4:24 PM | JK (Login brutus37) from IP address 198.45.18.69 | |
| I have been jumping around trying different type of swings. But I always come back to the swing that fits me best; the Bonar move.
Two best tips I ever read came from this site. (1) keep your trail hand facing the target in order to open the clubface in the back swing. (2) And, keep your back facing the target as long as possible on the downswing. Everything else just falls in place. Thats it. No matter how many swing methodologies I've read, tried, and implemented, these two simple rules always over shadowed any/all new swing thoughts, ideologies, tips, and good luck charms.
So, I cancelled my Golf Digest. I put away my Jim Hardy one plane/two plane swing books and dvds. I am removing all links to Stack and Tilt, Jim Hardy, Symple Swing, and Mike Beleuve(?) forums. I will no longer search the Internet for advice and/or tips.
I am not going to spend countless hours trying some new idea on how to swing the golf club. I am just going to play. And if I feel ambitious, I will go hit a few practice balls for fun.
Yet... this is one habit that will be hard to break, no?
