do you really think that you hit a fade with your hands? I have used AJ's method since it came out and I fade the ball at will, even though my natural shot is a draw. I stand a little closer to the ball and my feet are open (not square) meaning my right foot is closer to the ball than my left foot - you will naturally swing along your foot line and even if you release the club using AJ's method, you will fade the ball - I break 80 2 out of 5 rounds and I usually shoot under 85 and I am an AJ method user. Just adjusting your set up and stance is how you hit draws and fades - do you really think you can hold off you release so you can fade the ball? only on bunker shots or chips - trust me
