Recently I have recommended the basics put forth by AJ. I was dissappointed to see many negative reviews of the material on the Web. I am a 60+ year old golfer and to be honest, I would not be playing today if not for discovering the CDs provided by AJ. During my early years, I was US Army SF. I banged up my body with a great degree of regularity, and am now paying for the rugged lifestyle. My shoulders, knees and hips need a bit of help. Trying to conform to the "golf swing" promoted by the vast majority of the golfing world, kept me from golfing for almost 24 years. It hurt. Now that I have eliminated my informities by using AJ's methods, I am golfing again with great enjoyment. I learned how to use the tool (golf club) and understand more about the ball and it's characteristics. If you are a young, or even an older golfer with a descent body, AJ's methods may not appeal to you. But for those of us who are more senior, or have a few parts that don't work as advertised, AJ's system WORKS!
Tewnty for years ago I stopped playing because it hurt. This past year I bought and studied The Truth About Golf. When I started playing, I was scoring in the 120s, but the only thing that hurt was my pride. The more I played (and practiced at the range), the better I got. By the end of the year I had dropped about 20 strokes and was still playing pain free. Recently, I played at Myrtle Beach and broke 100 for the first time since I stopped playing years ago. I see no reason that, with the Truth About Golf, I cannot get back to scoring between the mid-eighties and mid-nineties I experienced before giving up the game. THANKS AJ!!
Welcome to the one place that you can ask questions and get
Support for the Aj system .
Like you I have used the Bonar system and it is the only thing
that has worked for me I just wish that the people that have not
tried it or do not understand the system try it before they discount
AJ and his system.
I have tried the other out their and it doesn't work for me
And I do mean about all of them.
Golf tips mag is about the only one that supports Aj's system.
So that is the only mag I read anymore.
Best of luck and keep playing.

I've dabbled with the Bonar method for years now. It has taken me this long to trust the swing and rely on the results. Take a deep breath, relax a whole bunch, put a smile on your face, and make a golf swing. I have found that the easiest way to participate in satisfying golf is to lighten up. I need to swing easy, move the hands, and watch the results. I'm not a great player. I've been down to a four and with work requirements, body changes and injuries - up to a fifteen. I re-committed myself to AJ's method and have droped back down to a nine. Would I like it to be a four again? Yes! But I'm not 20-someting anymore, nor am I as flexable as I once was.
I had the pleasure of going down to San Diego and playing with AJ earlier this year and enjoyed every minute of it. The experience was great fun, and helped solidify the Bonar golf swing method. Which really isn't 'his' method. The terminal component (hands moving through the ball) has been around since the game began. The club face has to hit the ball doesn't it?
So if you enjoy the game, like taking a few bucks from your buddies, and want to walk AFTER you play 18 holes, relax, smile, and listen to what AJ has to say.
It will not be the ultimate answer to everyone. No golf swing is. But for ease of effort, and ease on your body, this is a wonderful golf swing.
