I am in the finishing stages of piecing together the VSBA point system to award champions, and grand champions. If any of you have opinions or suggestions now is the time to give them. I will tell you this much, I’m going to go back and award points for the 2007 shows. So it is possible that some of your dogs may have already earned champion status, and many of you are on your way. So I just wanted to remind everyone if you have thoughts on this subject to let me know now.
We are also considering what to name our magazine, if any of you have any suggestions we would love to hear them. Also if you know of any rescues we’re still offering them a free spot in the magazine and we’re still accepting testimonials about your experience with the VSBA. Just a reminder…
“The VSBA will be putting out an annual magazine starting early 2008. This magazine will be a recap of the previous year, a look into the upcoming year, and much more. This will be a very large, well put together magazine. As always we would love to have your input, any ideas or suggestions of what you would like to see in this magazine are welcome. Any pictures, drawings, poems, stories, articles, tips, tricks, jokes, or anything at all will be greatly appreciated. Since this is a new project everything will be done on a first submitted, first used basis. We are going to try to fit as much information in this magazine as possible but we are unsure of how big this magazine will be. So we ask that all of you submit your entries soon. Many of you have asked about advertising, business card size ad’s will be $15, quarter page ad’s $30, half page ad’s $55, and whole page ad’s will be $100. We are going to allow a limited number of advertisement spots, this to will be on a first come, first serve basis. We plan to distribute this magazine everywhere possible. We are looking forward to hearing back from you. As I said we are looking to get these circulating by February 2008. We are really excited about this project and hope to be overwhelmed with feedback from you. Looking forward to hearing from you all. “
