Once again thanks to everyone who made January’s show a success. Our next show date, February 2nd, is approaching fast and we’re expecting another great turnout. Please remember that DOY, SDOY, all of the above points were reset at the beginning of the year. Therefore, all of you are in the race for these awards, and of course we are now awarding points in all working events and conformation classes towards VSBA Championships which gives you all something else to work for. Also, remember to obtain a VSBA Dog ID before February 5th so you can be awarded points for last years shows.
I want to remind you all again how important it is to bring a donation for the auction in order for us to keep our prices low and make it easier on our members. I understand money is tight around Christmas but remember you do not have to bring a new item and it does not have to be dog related, anything will do. Since we are not doing a fundraiser at the February show, please help us have a lot of items donated to the auction. If any of you have old cell phone or empty ink cartilages please consider donating them to the club. We have a company willing to buy these items from us to help raise money for a PA system.
I know I’ve said this before and didn’t follow through with it. As of the February 2nd show anyone who wishes to register their dogs after 11am will have to pay a $5 late entry fee. The fee is not $5 per a dog, you can register as many as you want when you pay the late fee.
