Ok i think i've come up with a good way to do this and cover everything. I'm going to start with Matthew and go strait through the books of the new testament until we get to Revelation. The way we're going about this is take one chapter per day and discuss it here. When we make it through Corinthians and into the Epistles we're going to take one Epistle per day until revelation then pick back up with one chapter per day. This entire endeavor will take approximatly 7 months to complete.
I believe that all of you who participate will find real meaning in having done this. By the time we finish everyone should be able to say that they have a much better understanding of the New Testament and have read it all. Doing this it will make your faith and wittness to others stronger.
Also those who feel they don't have time to read the Bible this gives you the perfect opportunity to do so and have other people encourage you and give important insight into the Word. I feel very strongly about this endeavor and would like for as many as possible to contribute to this. The only way this is going to be an effective Study is if we all work together and have alot of participation. You don't have to post or respond everyday to every Chapter but just put in opinions and thoughts here and there and read your Bible is all that is required. The Entire goal of this is to encourage teens to read their Bible each day and get meaning out of it instead of just fumbling around and being confused. I hope that this helps everyone to better understand the Bible.
And if your not a teen (that would mean your older) we would like to hear your opinions also. Because you more than likely know more than we do and could majorly help us understand this more.
So without further rambling I will begin the Study with my next post which will contain the text from Matthew 1:1. The scriptures will also be published in an index on the "Weekly Hoppy" page itself for easier reference. To respond to the scripture just click on reply and comment and give some thoughts. Here we go, Everyone Pray that we get the most we can out of this and in seven months we will all be better Christians.
