I am doing well not really any pain. Hernia Center of Florida is where I went.
I am now having pain on the other side. I can't feel a hernia and they said I probably have one.
I will be at a restaurant seminal in Las Vegas in Sept. and may have this repaired by Dr. Kevin Petersen. I know some others who have been there and they had great success. So even though I had success with an open surgery mesh repair, I just want to experience both kinds. Dr. Petersen was one person that spent a lot of time with me on the phone. Based on what he said, it is probably better to repair smaller hernias that cannot be seen with stitches. He uses a McVay repair.
All the surgeons at the Hernia Center of Florida appear to be excellent so I am not hesitating to go back there.
I will keep everyone posted.
Everyone tip your waitress this coming 4th if you go out to eat.
P.S.
Has anyone been to the Olive Garden lately? My wife and kids went there Friday night and it was very good. I really don't go for the super fancy restaurants when I eat out, I just like a good clean nice place that's fun.
Some of you may remember Mr. Steak. It just turns out, a former CEO who owned most of it came to our restaurant the other day. I recognized him from a trade magazine. I do remember that in the late 70's, in Utah, Arizona and Nevad, some of the same people tried to open an upscale "City Jail" restaurant chain. It never took off. I think these CEO's were really stealing money from the corporation in the form of excessive bonuses.
