      Jeff from two surgeons I have been told this. It does make one wonder. They tell me that mesh will eventually wear out. The surgeon that did my last repair which is the prolene hernia system well I asked him about this too in e-mail. He responded and said well they have not confirmed it but they are close to realizing that there is no cure for a hernia. Surgery will temporarily fix it but not for good. I am realing believing this too.
