I am still doing well from surgery at the Hernia Institute in Florida. You can easily google their website.
Now, what's wrong! PAIN ON THE OTHER SIDE!! I had some doctors say there is a hernia, others say there isn't.
I did not want the Hernia Institute in Florida (where doctor Gilbert is- but really doesn't operate) to do an exploratory. They did suggest I had an occult hernia. I did some watching and waiting but the pain is the same.
I will be visiting Dr. Kevin Petersen in Las Vegas to get a "stitch" repair as I feel these smaller hernias are best handled by "stitching"- not mesh. I liked Dr. Petersen's website and did talk to him on the phone. Our restaurant convention/seminar will be held in LV in Sept. and I am planning on getting there a few days early in case I have surgery there.
And boy what a busy week. As you know I cook at one of the finer restaurants here in Florida and business has really picked up!! Don't know why, but maybe everyone is taking vacation all at once. The kids want to go back to Disney World again and my wife is working overtime.
For Dr. Goodyear and everyone reading this, "The tracks are tight....the switch is locked...." What will you do?
If you can't figure this out Dr.Goodyear, just tip your waitress and appreciate the good food when you have a nice sit down meal. Thanks to the author John A. Thompson |
