I am an 81 year old male with a large hernia in the navel area. I had a double bypass on 12/25/96. I did not suffer a heart attack nor have I ever had one. I was also diagnosed approximately one year ago with CTCL. I am an asthmatic. Below are the medications I now take:

Medication Dosage Times/Day

Amiloride 5/50mg 1
Praachol 20 mg 1
Singulair 10 mg 1
Doxazosin 1 mg 1
Aspirin 325 mg 1
Spiriva 18 cmg 1
Bactroban Cream 2% As Needed
Oxsoralen=Ultra 10 mg 3capsules for PUVA trtmnt
Triamcinolon 0.1% As Needed
Fluocino 0.1% As Needed

AM I A CANDIDATE TO HAVE THIS REPAIRED? If I am, what other information would you require?

In general you ARE a candidate. The Aspirin will need to be discontinued for 1 week pre-operatively with your physicians approval. In fact, it would be wise to get a Medical Clearance from your physician prior to proceding. But again, you are a candidate. Further details regarding your height/weight, and size of the hernia would be helpful in providing a more speccific answer.
