Oh my God! We have been through both topics countless times! Get restaurant man's damn e-mail address if you are so interested in what he has to say - and need updates from him every few days. This is getting unreal!
Hi Jerry! Many people feel the same way you do about this fool, but they just ignore him. He is obviously either a very lonely person with no one else to communicate with or someone just extremely obsessed and fixated with hernia's and hernia surgeons. You probably noticed that Dr. Goodyear rarely responds to him. He probably responds to himself using different names.
Right on Jerry! This has indeed been discussed in other threads. How many hundreds of posts does this person have over the last year? Does Howie, Ken, Leo, Lin, Clinic Man, or whatever alias he's using even have a hernia?? It's just weird! I couldn't even believe it when I saw "Howie" on the screen! This kind of redundant inquiry only serves to degrade the effectiveness of the forum and drive away Dr. Goodyear and other professionals. Multiple aliases, daily posting, hyperbole, and confrontation (in some cases even with the doctor!) are indicative of an unhealthy obsession. In short it stinks to have to wade through this junk. Hi Another Jeff,
Regarding your suggestion to simply ignore a particular poster or topic, quite frankly I have made that a practice for nearly two years. But then as you start to get other incessant misusers of this forum it begins to wear a bit thin on you. I could let that pass too but I wholheatedly agree with "Anonymous" that these posts "only serve to degrade the effectiveness of the forum and drive away Dr. Goodyear and other professionals." When that starts happening people no longer get what they need or want from this forum and I can't help but resent that. This whole website is a model of perfection and this forum has a terrific use-friendly interface. But then to see its form so brought down by its content (on the part of a select few regulars) it is quite disheartening.
Whoops - my keyboard keys have been sticking lately and I noticed that I misspelled wholeheartedly. My apologies for the typo. Please don't think that I too have another IP address
