It is a not for profit advocacy group that has been helping very many people. The founder is very informative on all the isssues surrounding mesh. I think many innovations in mesh are the result of mesh folding up, retracting, coming lose, and so we have new mesh products like Rebound HRD which you can google. Goodyear and the Hernia MD will not talk about this.

The main problem with synthetic mesh is the fact that many surgeons continue to use "heavyweight" mesh and "heavyweight" plugs. Mesh needs to be compliant and NOT stiff. The rebound mesh is not lightweight and it is stiff. There are much better products out there such as the UltraPro Hernia System.

Please get your facts straight, Hernia MD. Rebound HRD uses a lightweight mesh and is not stiff.
