Like I reported earlier I just had surgery again for the 3rd hernia operation since Nov 2008. I've had 2 inguinal and 1 femoral (almost strangulated). I just had surgery on 09/02/09 for 2 hernias, so I'm on day 10 of recovery. This was done as an open surgery, mesh used and both hernias were on the left side. As of yesterday the top of my left leg and the inside of my leg are really sore. You slightly rub and it feels like a thousand needles going through. Could it be recurrence or nerve damage? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
