Multiple Hernia Repairs

Currently have a very painful recurring ventral hernia ( 8 related surgeries), small umbilical(2cm extends out from belly button, 2 failed tries ) and a 6cm hiatial hernia. Also have Barret's Esophagus. Found a surgeon willing to do reconstruct abdominal surgery. My question is how many of these defects should be fixed in the same procedure? I understand that I may not be better since I have been cut so many times, but the daily pain is really taking a toll on my over health and vitality, so am willing risk it.
Thanks George
