Keloid - Thats what my remaining banana is.

Since the banana is not going away anywhere soon, during my last week Physical I asked my PCP what this is all about. His answer was I have a "KELOID" after surgery. It happens in some people and google gives hundreds of links. So my fears have been correct - this banana however small is going to stay.

Luckily I really no longer care about it since I have no pain or anything from it. Once in a while I do feel a uncomfortable itch or twitch for a few seconds and then that's it. Not all people can ride in a limosine, stretching their legs and watching TV; some people have to drive it.

I'm glad there is no pain. Is it noticable over clothes?

Over clothes? No, not at all. Unless I put my finger over the surgical cut I do not even feel it. It is like you have a small bone there - like your pink finger bone. Don't feel anything at all.

Some mornings it is a bit hard but other days it is normal. Pressing it with finger I can feel it. Other than that nothing.
