Thank you to all who made it to the show Saturday! I believe it was one of the best shows we have had in the 3 years we've been doing this. We had some old faces return and a ton of new ones. We had the best auction that I have ever seen at any dog show. I cannot thank you enough for everyone who brought or bid on items. I have to give a special thank you to Mr. Smitty of Gray Ghost Kennels who went above and beyond when bidding in our auction. He has ben an important member of the club for a while now and he more than done his part in helping keep this club strong!
Thank you to our Judge Gerald Lewis who handled the show ring. It seemed like he kept the show running smoothly. He helped us out greatly by handling both shows I heard alot of good things about this 1st time judge. I look forward to hearing feedback from more of you who were there.
Thank you to our weight pull Judges Trenton and Smitty. I am not sure who helped with the cart this month but a huge thank you to them as well.
I am sure many of you noticed things being done a little different than normal such as the new weight pull judges and having both shows under the pavilion. I ask everyone to give their opinions on how things operate. I will use the feedback I get from all of you to make changes to how we do things and hopefully continue to put on some of the best shows around.
With all of that out of the way... I said if this show brought in enough funds we would do a 2-day show to celebrate our 3rd Birthday on September 5th and 6th. Well, It is now time to start planning for this show. Many of you may remember our last 2-day show. We ended Saturdays show with a concert and 3 different stand up comedians!. I am looking to provide entertainement at this show as well. Just like last time everyone will be welcomed to camp out Saturday night at the show site as to be ready Sunday morning for another show.We provided all you can eat breakfast at our last 2 day show and will try and do this again this time. We will have different judges on Saturday and Sunday and will get some extremely nice trophies as well (we had 6-ft tall trophies last time!!) I will post more details throughout the month, I will need more help at this show than normal so any of you who are interested in helping please call me. I know I have been hard to reach over the past few months but that will not be the case from now on. From this point forward I will return every call within 24 hrs GUARANTEED!
