Sunday

Alright, here's the breakdown.

I have a little blonde haired blue eyed daughter this sunday, whom I haven't seen in far too long. So Sunday is out. Sorry for the short notice on this, but lately, every time I try to get onto the board (typically at like 2 am) Network 54 has it down updating their hard drives.

As such, I wanted to get everyone's commitment on arriving or not arriving to a future sunday. Attendance has been weak to nil at the last few games, and so I would like to know if it's because of the seasonal change or unforseen circumstance. We are (weather aside) heading into the holiday season, and it will become very difficult very quickly for everyone to get to the games with reliability. Therefore, I want to know if we should call it for the season, and pick up next spring or if we have some life left in us. Let me know.

On another note. The reason I want advance warning, is because I plan to send out a season close newletter of sorts, stating where the plot is right now. What elements would come to light over the next couple of months, and letting everyone in on what has happened over the last few weeks. I figure will also help Jim get the Final Record up to speed, and we can go into the new season fresh.

On a final note. Jim and I have been talking about a meeting for a while now, and we plan to hold as soon as the season closes. ALL aspects of the game will be discussed, from allowable classes to XP, to staff to plot to everything. It is not mandatory to attend, but if you don't attend, you can't talk, you can't gripe and have it heard and dealt with, and above all, if you don't show up, and a decision gets made without you, you shouldn't bitch cuz we have been talking about this meeting for a long time. I have mentioned it at almost every game at one point or another for weeks now. Of course if it happens at a time/place/day whatever where you have other commitments, we are going to try to have a second meeting (a make up date) for discussion.

At the meeting everyone is on the same level, no one has a "more valid opinion" than another. Rules will be discussed, plots, power levels, xp awards, rare critters, you name it we have a fine toothed comb for it.
