I think having people who wish to play ghouls and kinfolk would be great. A few caveats, though.
1. Ghouls. They are the backbone of any daytime Camarilla operation. They supply their undead domitors with many services that the Lick in question simply can't perform, for one reason or another. However, if someone is playing a ghoul, then the Cam should actually USE the ghoul. In a certain case, the ghoul (and, by extension, player) was ignored or pushed to the side. The Camarilla doesn't really do that...ghouls are to be used, not ignored. Of course, if we switch to Sabbat (something I think was mentioned in passing at the meeting), it's a moot point, as the Sabbat doesn't really bother with ghouls.
2. Kinfolk. A Garou's best friend, if he's got a head on his shoulders. Kinfolk do all sorts of things that are difficult for a high-Rage killing machine. They're also wonderful breeding stock, as they carry the Changing Gene, although they've never Changed themselves. They also have access to Basic Breed and Tribe Gifts that do not require Gnosis (taking the Merit: Gnosis obviously changes that a bit). Plus, they can be Hedge Mages or Numinous. Their treatment from their full-blooded cousins can make for all sorts of wonderful stories...in short, they're great.
All this brings up one question in my mind. In both books that primarily mention these two quasi-humans, they require the appropriate Merits to be bought. When I was ST, I waived that cost (as per an Optional Rule). Do we continue with that, or make people pay?
Also, what rules do we use for Ghoul creation? How many Blood Traits do they have? Do we use Liber des Goules at all? Just some thoughts.
I'm gonna go watch the Tick now.
