Response to My two cents

1) Mortals:
Ghouls -- They can be fun. Yea. Trevor, tho not a ghoul, came into play as a blood bound servant and bodyguard (much as a ghoul). Yea, he was fun to play like that. I'll confess, he got even more fun to play afterwards, but the development during his time bonded and the shock of the release really helped him into being more of a character... It gave me time to feel out the character, develop him and his ~feelings~, and all sorts of good stuff before he was out on his lonesome. Now, I realize that Trevor's release was by far not the norm (Gary's old, "Miracle: You're free."), and it probably wouldn't ever ever happen again. Ever. And like I said, trevor ~was~ more fun after the release... but I think people might find it refreshing to play a vampire's bitch. It beats walking around with no agenda.
Kinfolk: Cool as a plot device, and maybe as a player... but in the Garou "Rip-things-up" society, they have a hard time finding play unless someone (player or ST) works to fit them in, or unless they have other mortals to play with, in which case one gets to play the "between two worlds" thing that is the entire concept behind them.
Kinain: Shining Host: Players Guide had a section on them... They fit better into Fae society than Kinfolk do Garou, but still, they do best as a "between two worlds" sort as well.
Hunters: "Antagonist" hunters... sure, make them NPC. But... I think scholarly hunters would make fine PCs. They DO know more about the supernatural lore (they start with some base level of lore for free), and they can buy more without in game reason (as per their advantage, as they go into their organization's library in downtime and do some research). Hedge wizardry might not be exceptionally potent, but it's got lots of variety, and one can still take the merits "Kinfolk" or "Kinain" to add a little bit of spark to the character's background (tho not Gnosis, Ghoul, or Faerie Blood -- then you're probably more with the supernaturals than your society). The Scholarly hunters often get some good chances to interact, too...

2) Reset for spring: All for it. The game has practically reset itself. Let's at least make it formal.
