I hope no one takes my poem personally. It's written about no one in particular. Honest. I bear no malice towards anyone with it. Some of it developed completely independently of Amy's poem, before it was even posted in fact. I just thought I would use it's posting as an opportunity to write a response of sorts. I don't want anyone to read too deeply into it, for it is not an indictment against any of you. What I do want is for people to think about it seriously, as any poet would want his readers to think seriously about anything he or she has written. It's not ego, I just feel that I have some observations of my world that I wanted to share and that I think people should know.
